I'm answering the most-asked question about my life.

Q1: How did you find out you were allergic to coffee?

A: It all started at a holiday party years ago. I had a cookie, and soon after, I passed out and broke out in hives. That’s when I found out I had an allergy to coffee. It was a bit of a wake-up call, but it also taught me to listen closely to what my body is telling me!

How do you manage to run a business while staying so connected to your clients?

A: It’s all about balance! I truly care about my clients and making sure they feel heard and loved. I see my work as a calling, not just a job. Running Rae De Lain Weddings, alongside raising my family, is a gift, and I pour my heart into both.

Why are you a widow so young?

A: My late husband, Stephen, passing away in a car accident in 2015, really shaped my outlook on life. Although I lost him, I didn’t give up on other people's love stories. I firmly believe that love is a blessing, and I want to be a part of capturing that for others every day.

What’s one thing people might not know about you?

I’m bi-racial, Italian and Cuban, and I like to describe myself as a firecracker! I have a lot of passion for life, and that energy carries over into everything I do – especially with my business and family.

How do you balance your family life with running your business?

With 3 girls and 3 boys, it's a lot of juggling, but I’ve learned to make it work! My oldest is married, two are in college, one is secretly engaged (yes, I know, but we’re praying for them, haha), and my younger two are almost done with high school. I’ve learned that time management, a lot of prayer, and a supportive family help me do it all.
