**UPDATE** (Baby Tommy was born 09.12.23 | 7 lbs 1 oz on the porch of Origins Birthing Center lol. That’s another story for another blog)

In December 2021, we had the absolute privilege of capturing Chynjah and Robert’s magical wedding day at Hidden Acres Ranch in Hudson Oaks, TX. Their love story was a beautiful tapestry woven with laughter, tears, and the promise of a lifetime together. Fast forward to September 2023, and we find ourselves sharing in another extraordinary chapter of their journey – Chynjah’s maternity session in anticipation of Baby Tommy’s arrival.

Chynjah is not just any bride, and Robert is not just any groom. They are more than clients; they are friends. The bond that was nurtured during the wedding journey is a testament to the significance of becoming friends with your bride. Let’s dive into the heartfelt narrative of their evolving story.

From “I Do” to “We’re Expecting”

Chynjah and Robert’s wedding was nothing short of a fairytale. As a makeup artist, Chynjah’s vision for her bridal look was a masterpiece, which she crafted herself. The day was filled with profound love and genuine joy, radiating from both the bride and groom. Their wedding day was not just an event; it was an emotional crescendo, a promise of forever.

Fast forward to 2023, and Chynjah was preparing to welcome Baby Tommy into their lives. She decided to do a maternity session to celebrate this new chapter. To our delight, she had a gown from her wedding in 2021 that was too exquisite to be left in the closet. The connection between our past collaboration and the forthcoming maternity session was undeniable.

The Importance of Friendship with Your Bride

The photography journey with Chynjah and Robert underscores the significance of building a genuine friendship with your bride. It goes beyond merely documenting one day; it’s about being a part of their story, witnessing their growth, and celebrating milestones together.

Trust and Comfort: When a bride trusts you not just as a photographer but as a friend, she feels more at ease in front of the camera. This comfort leads to candid, natural moments that are a true reflection of their personalities and emotions.

Capturing Authentic Moments: A friend is more likely to capture genuine emotions because they understand the couple’s unique dynamics and can anticipate special moments.

A Lifelong Journey: Your role as a photographer doesn’t end with the wedding. The moments you capture create lasting memories. Becoming friends with your bride ensures that you continue to be a part of their journey, capturing important milestones like maternity sessions and beyond.

In the Blink of an Eye

Chynjah and Robert’s wedding day felt like just yesterday, yet here we are, celebrating the impending arrival of Baby Tommy. The connection we’ve nurtured throughout these moments is a testament to the enduring bond formed when you become friends with your bride.

It’s not about the camera; it’s about the shared laughter, the heartfelt conversations, and the beautiful moments that bind us. Through wedding bliss and maternity joy, we’re reminded that in this beautiful journey of photography, our brides are not just clients; they are friends who trust us to capture their most cherished memories. As we eagerly await Baby Tommy’s arrival, we’re grateful for this incredible journey and the treasured friendships that continue to blossom through our lens. En #MaternityPhotos #FriendshipMatters
