When asked to describe their relationship, this couple didn’t hesitate: “Spontaneous.” And they proved it during their session, constantly cracking jokes, sneaking silly faces between shots, and bursting into laughter at just the right moments. As classical musicians, their shared passion for music has always been a central part of their connection. But their story is much more than shared sheet music. These two first met as teenagers, when they were just figuring life out. They had ups and downs (who doesn’t at that age?), went their separate ways, and grew as individuals. Years later, life brought them back together. And not just casually — this was a grand, international-student-learning-a-new-language kind of reunion. Their resilience through trials and tribulations, from long-distance struggles to overcoming challenges in the competitive musical world, has shaped them into the beautifully grounded couple they are today. The Kimball Museum was the perfect venue for this session — timeless, understated, and full of subtle elegance, just like these two. From playful attempts at piggyback rides (yes, we tried!) to deep, soulful moments where they’d just look at each other with the kind of love that makes you believe in fairy tales, the entire day was a seamless blend of fun and romance.
