Sometimes, the most unexpected changes lead to unforgettable memories. Nancy and Hector originally planned to capture their engagement session at Adriatica in McKinney, Texas, but when the weather had other plans, we made a last-minute switch to The Chapel at Palacio. And, honestly, it couldn’t have been more perfect. The serene beauty of the chapel complemented Nancy and Hector’s calm, supportive bond and faith-centered love story.

A Strong, Faith-Filled Love

Nancy and Hector’s relationship is grounded in support, encouragement, and a shared devotion to their faith. They are both family-oriented, patient, and have God at the center of their relationship, which radiates in every moment they’re together. It’s clear that their love goes beyond romance; it’s rooted in a shared vision and commitment to grow together, not just as a couple, but also as individuals.

From AutoZone to Forever

Nancy and Hector’s love story began at AutoZone, where they met as college students working as cashiers. What started as a friendship blossomed into a romance, leading them to start dating in July 2022. Just over a year later, they became engaged in December 2023 at Nancy’s grandparents' home in Mexico—an intimate, family-oriented setting that speaks to their close-knit values and shared love for family.

Since those early days, Nancy graduated and began working as a nurse, while Hector is currently finishing his finance degree at UTA. Together, they’ve faced the ups and downs of academic life, job transitions, and the spiritual journey that has brought them even closer. Recently, they’ve returned to their Catholic roots, a commitment that’s brought a new depth and resilience to their relationship.

Exploring Together, Grounded in Love

Nancy and Hector are each other’s biggest fans and enjoy the simplest moments together. Despite busy schedules, they make time to explore new places and discover new restaurants. They’re not expert chefs, but they enjoy experimenting in the kitchen, creating fun, imperfect meals. From lazy movie days to exploring local spots, their time together is filled with shared joy, laughter, and a deep connection.

One of the things that stands out about their bond is their shared introverted nature—they find comfort and companionship in each other’s presence, both with friends and family and in quiet moments. Their love languages—physical touch and quality time—shine through in the natural way they interact, capturing a love that’s both deep and soulful.

Capturing Their Love

Nancy and Hector wanted their engagement photos to reflect the genuine, unwavering love they have for one another. They sought a romantic, soulful style, and I aimed to capture the connection that makes them so unique. The Chapel at Palacio provided a quiet, picturesque backdrop, perfect for capturing these meaningful moments. As they look back on these photos in 20 years, they want their future family to see the love and commitment they shared in their twenties, a love anchored in faith and rooted in each other’s embrace. I’m honored to be part of this chapter of their story, helping to preserve these memories of their journey as they prepare for a lifetime together.
