Rachel & Michael’s Wedding: A Day Filled with Love, Laughter, and a Touch of Spunk | Covered Bridge Springtown TX
I’m so excited to share the beautiful wedding day of Rachel and Michael Tijerina! {{BTW-these are sneak peeks}} This wedding was extra special to me because while Rachel wasn't technically "my bride," she was MY bride. If you’re a Rae De Lain Bride, you know what I mean when I say that – I get to know you, I check in with you, I’m there for you like a new best friend. And when we finally meet in person, it feels like we’ve known each other forever.
Rachel is a total firecracker. She’s spunky, fun, and definitely one of the most down-to-earth brides I’ve ever worked with. She was also super overwhelmed – but let’s be honest, what bride isn’t? Wedding planning can be a lot. As a believer, Rachel truly appreciated the prayer/blessing I say over all my brides. It’s one of the most meaningful parts of what I do because I get to cover each of my brides in prayer as they step into such a big moment in their lives. Rachel’s faith shone through, and I could feel how much she valued the blessing as we prepared for the big day.
The Gorgeous Venue: Covered Bridge
Rachel and Michael’s wedding was set at the stunning Covered Bridge Venue, and WOW—what a place! Nestled in the Texas countryside, this venue has it all: charm, elegance, and that perfect rustic vibe that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a fairytale. From the moment I arrived, I could feel the calm energy of the place. The wooden beams, the ivy-covered walls, and of course, the breathtaking bridge that gives the venue its name—it all created the perfect backdrop for this beautiful couple's wedding day.
Bridal Party Goals
Now, let’s talk about Rachel’s bridal party for a second because wow—what a group of ladies. Seriously, I’ve worked with a lot of bridal parties, and it’s rare to find one where everyone is so supportive and loving, without a single ounce of drama. Let’s face it, there’s often one bridesmaid who’s a little salty or jealous (I know, I know, but it's true), but Rachel’s crew was a dream. These ladies were there for her, hyping her up every step of the way, and you could just feel the love in the air. There were no egos, no drama—just true, unconditional support.
The Love Between Rachel & Michael
Rachel and Michael’s love story is something else. You could see it in every little glance, every touch, and in the way they smiled at each other. Their connection was undeniable and unparalleled. It’s the kind of love you read about in fairytales, but seeing it in person, right in front of you? It’s magic. These two were absolutely meant for each other.
Rachel even gave Michael a special gift before their ceremony—a boudoir album. Now, I know some brides might be hesitant about giving this kind of personal gift, but let me tell you, the look on Michael’s face when he saw it? Priceless. If you’re considering doing a boudoir session for your future hubby, let me know! It’s one of the most intimate and meaningful gifts you can give to your partner.
Vendors Who Made This Day Amazing
A wedding day wouldn’t be complete without the amazing team of vendors who make it all come together. Rachel and Michael had some of the best in the business, and I’m so grateful to have worked alongside them to bring this day to life.
